Along with my day job at Goldsmiths university, I have worked with a number of early years and SEND based organisations to deliver writing projects, webinars and training. I am a lecturer in SEND and Early Years working on the undergraduate, MA and PGCE programmes. I am currently working with the Bridge Specialist School to deliver an MA in SEND and Behaviour Management running in January 2023
Little Minds Matter
I am currently writing for the Routledge Little Minds Matter series on SEND & Wellbeing. This book will provide evidence-based ways to support high quality inclusion and well being for children with learning differences.
I have written A Guide to SEND in the Early Years with Bloomsbury which is due to be released in March 2022. This is a toolkit for key people and practitioners to develop practical skills and knowledge.
I am an associate of Early Education and have written for Early Educational Journal along with working on several projects across the country including Stoke Goes Out.
Teach Early Years
I am a writer for the Teach Early Years Magazine focusing on topics around SEND & Inclusion. I provide ideas and tips for how practitioners in the early years can develop their practice.
Writer and Presenter
I have written two articles with Nursery World on Neurodiversity and SEND. I will also be speaking at their Nursery World Show in 2022.
I have been fortunate enough to work with Kinderly since they began writing articles and delivering webinars.
Writer & Presenter
I have worked with Famly to produce a two-part article on Neurodiversity and Play. I will also be delivering a live session with them in early 2022!
I have worked with Routledge on several book proposal reviews providing ideas and feedback. I have also reviewed manuscripts and provided endorsements for early years based publications.
I previously worked with NASEN to co-deliver early years SEND based training providing an introduction to key concepts and practice. I also provided a bespoke delivery of this course to a local authority in Newcastle.
Kate Moxley Wellness For All
I have worked with Kate for two years supporting her Early Years Wellbeing Week and together we produced a podcast called Early Years Conversations.
The Black Nursery Manager
I have collaborated with The Black Nursery Manager aka Liz Pemberton this year to deliver and moderate webinars on anti-racism in the early years. We also delivered SEND & Anti-Racism training at Dingley's specialist setting.
University of Sheffield
I am currently at the University of Sheffield studying towards my doctorate in neurodivergent play skills in early childhood.
I am currently writing a book with autism specialist Sarah Doyle on The Building Blocks of Behaviour. This title will be released in late 2022!
